Facilities Project Handoff NFC Tag Kit

$4,999.00

Product Details

Give operations a clear route to the project handoff information.

Features

  • A customized 30 mm NFC tag in NFC-A TAG’s sticker format for a suitable facility-equipment panel or asset surface.
  • A compatible phone tap can open the owner-selected O&M manual, approved turnover folder, warranty or service contact, or issue form.

Benefits

  • Puts the owner-selected handoff resource near the equipment where operations need it.
  • Lets the owner update the linked destination without replacing the physical sticker.

Package Details

  • Includes one customized tag with the selected sticker color, print, and holder options shown above.
  • The tag is a route to a customer-selected resource, not a system of record. It does not verify project acceptance, commissioning, safety compliance, warranty coverage, or maintenance.
Choose your sticker color

Your base is a white 30 mm NTAG215 coin. We’ll apply this non-metallic color sticker to its face.

Custom print

Print up to two centered lines inside a 28 mm safe circle on the 30 mm coin’s color sticker. The 1 mm margin keeps print clear of the edge.

Choose a holding option

Choose the way you would like to carry your tag. Each holder is assembled with care to fit the 30 mm coin.

The Project Closed. The Work Moved In.

The contractor has packed up. The building engineer is standing at the new unit with one practical question: where is the current operating information?

A facilities engineer holds a phone beside a building-services equipment cabinet marked with a small round NFC-A TAG sticker.
A tap opens the destination the owner chooses. The official closeout package stays in the system the organization controls.

The Project Folder Is Somewhere

The new unit is in service. The project team has moved on. The building engineer still needs the current O&M information.

That’s when a clean handoff meets a real building.

Put the Resource Beside the Equipment

Place the NFC tag sticker on a suitable, non-sensitive, non-hot, non-moving equipment surface. A compatible phone tap can open the owner-selected O&M manual, approved turnover folder, service contact, or issue form.

The owner’s authorized platform remains the system of record.

Ownership Moves. The Link Can, Too.

When a service contact changes or a resource moves, the owner can update the destination behind the sticker. The marker stays with the equipment.

It does not sign off a project, verify commissioning, or replace official closeout records. It gives the next person a clear place to start.

Use a non-sensitive destination approved by the equipment owner. Keep restricted building plans, credentials, access instructions, and official records in the owner’s access-controlled systems. Confirm adhesion, material compatibility, and NFC performance at the actual installation point.

A Cleaner Handoff Earns Its Keep After Closeout.

Project costs get tracked. The time people lose finding turnover information after the project team moves on is easier to miss.

Start with a small group of recently commissioned assets. Measure how long it takes operations to reach the current O&M resource—and how often someone has to ask another person to find it. Put the link at the equipment. Measure again after the new route is in use.

Run the numbers with your own observations

Annual capacity value = touchpoints × avoided minutes ÷ 60 × loaded hourly labor cost

Enter all three values to see an estimate.

This estimates labor capacity, not guaranteed cash savings. It assumes the entered difference holds over the year. Compare similar assets and periods. Do not attribute reduced downtime or maintenance outcomes to the tag without evidence.

Questions about Facilities Project Handoff NFC Tag Kit

How can I use Facilities Project Handoff NFC Tag Kit?

Use this kit to give facilities operations a direct route from suitable equipment to owner-selected O&M or project handoff information.

Where can I place an NFC tag?

Place the sticker on a suitable, non-sensitive, non-hot, non-moving, flat surface approved by the equipment owner. Confirm adhesion and NFC performance at the actual location.

What can an NFC tag open?

The owner can link to an O&M manual, approved turnover folder, warranty or service contact, punch-list or issue form, or equipment owner resource.

Can I change the destination later?

Yes. A compatible, unlocked NFC tag can be rewritten with the NFC-A TAG Writer or another NFC writing app. If it opens a webpage you control, update that page without replacing the physical tag.

Do people need an app to scan an NFC tag?

Usually, no. Most current Android phones and iPhones can read a standard NFC tag with their built-in NFC reader. Keep the phone unlocked, and use the QR fallback when it is included with the product.
