R&D Test Bench NFC Tag Kit

$4,999.00

Product Details

Give the next engineer a clear place to start at a suitable R&D test fixture.

Features

  • One customized 30 mm NFC tag in NFC-A TAG’s NTAG215 coin format for an organization-approved, nonclinical test fixture or bench asset.
  • A compatible phone tap opens the setup checklist, current team-selected instruction, test resource, issue form, or owner contact linked by your team.

Benefits

  • Keeps a chosen starting point close to the fixture, where setup work begins.
  • Lets your team change the linked destination while the physical tag stays in place.

Package Details

  • Includes one customized tag. Choose the available sticker color, print, and holder options shown above.
  • Use only on a suitable nonclinical surface approved by your organization. The tag does not validate procedures, record tests, confirm calibration, or replace controlled records. Check tag performance on the actual fixture.
Choose your sticker color

Your base is a white 30 mm NTAG215 coin. We’ll apply this non-metallic color sticker to its face.

Custom print

Print up to two centered lines inside a 28 mm safe circle on the 30 mm coin’s color sticker. The 1 mm margin keeps print clear of the edge.

Choose a holding option

Choose the way you would like to carry your tag. Each holder is assembled with care to fit the 30 mm coin.

The Prototype Is Ready. The Bench Isn’t.

The fixture is on the bench. The latest setup notes are in a folder with three versions and one file called “final.” The engineer who knows which one matters is across the building.

A phone displays a generic setup checklist beside a nonclinical R&D test fixture marked with an NFC-A TAG coin.
A tap opens the resource your team selects. The controlled record stays in the system your process already trusts.

The Prototype Is Ready. The Bench Isn’t.

The fixture is ready for another run. The current setup resource is not where the engineer expected it to be.

That search is short. Until it keeps happening.

Put the Starting Point at the Fixture

Place the NFC tag on a suitable, approved nonclinical test fixture. A compatible phone tap can open the team-selected setup checklist, current work instruction, test resource, issue form, or owner contact.

The team owns the destination. The organization keeps controlled instructions and official records in its authorized systems.

When the Resource Changes, Keep the Fixture

Procedure revised? Owner changed? Update the destination behind the tag and leave the physical marker in place—after your team confirms the tag works on that fixture surface.

The tap does not validate a procedure, record a test, confirm calibration, or replace a controlled system. It points to the resource your team chose.

Use it only on nonclinical fixtures and bench equipment approved by your organization. Keep confidential design details and controlled records behind your existing access controls. Linked resources may require connectivity and sign-in.

Make the Next Setup Easier to Find. Then Measure the Difference.

When an engineer searches for the current setup resource, that time comes out of test capacity. Start with a baseline: how long does it take to reach the right instruction at this bench—and how often does someone interrupt a teammate to find it?

Put the link beside the fixture. Measure again after people adopt it. Count only minutes your team confirms it actually avoided. No assumed rework. No imaginary tests completed.

Build the estimate with your own numbers

Enter a measured baseline and follow-up. The calculator runs in this browser; it does not save or send your numbers.

Use visits where the setup resource is actually needed.
Use the difference you observed—not a hoped-for reduction.
Use your organization’s own rate, including the costs it chooses to count.

Annual capacity value = visits × avoided minutes ÷ 60 × loaded hourly cost

Enter all three values to calculate an estimate.

This models labor capacity, not guaranteed cash savings. It assumes the entered difference holds for the year; compare like-for-like periods and include adoption, setup, and ongoing costs in your decision. The $4,999 price is a one-time package price.

Questions about R&D Test Bench NFC Tag Kit

How can I use R&D Test Bench NFC Tag Kit?

Use this kit to give an engineer a direct route from an approved, nonclinical test fixture to the setup resource or handoff contact your team selects.

Where can I place an NFC tag?

Use it only on a suitable nonclinical test fixture or bench asset and surface approved by your organization. Confirm the tag works on the actual material before use.

What can an NFC tag open?

Your team chooses the destination, such as a setup checklist, current work instruction, test resource, issue form, or owner contact. Keep controlled records in your organization’s approved system.

Can I change the destination later?

Yes. A compatible, unlocked NFC tag can be rewritten with the NFC-A TAG Writer or another NFC writing app. If it opens a webpage you control, update that page without replacing the physical tag.

Do people need an app to scan an NFC tag?

Usually, no. Most current Android phones and iPhones can read a standard NFC tag with their built-in NFC reader. Keep the phone unlocked, and use the QR fallback when it is included with the product.
